1. I’m very sorry to hear this news. My condolences to Shawn’s family and friends. I had the privilege to play with his father on a Reston men’s club (well after his retirement from the Cosmos and Diplomats) Shawn and his brothers would come and join us in kick arounds.

  2. I’m so sorry for your loss. I never knew him but followed him through the news and this site. Just from these, I could tell he was a special person. Cancer has taken a lot of loved ones, but Shawn’s faith is a true inspiration:) His words have touched a lot of people… and he will live on inside each of us. Thank you so much for sharing him with all of us
